I like the show too.
and when it is all over.
There will be a shitload of S+S, Thunderheader, tweaked up harleys going for cheap.
And wolf shirts and doo-rags.jimmy monkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07237348494995797849noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6288678161717835737.post-879201810396354192010-10-23T15:22:11.021-07:002010-10-23T15:22:11.021-07:00No need for apologies, I didn't think you were...No need for apologies, I didn't think you were pointing in my general direction either.

And I totally agree, yes. There's been a huge influence from that show on the mainstream market. My sales rep at Arlen Ness says they're selling a ton of those fairings for Dyna and FXR. I'm sure a lot more of the H-D dealers are selling the OEM accessory fairings too.

Also more young people are into FXR's now, yes, but I've personally been seeing more Dyna guys lately here. I think for the most part, Dyna's are #1. Most guys are too chicken to buy an "old Evo". It's been interesting to watch. I personally get a LOT of FXR questions via email in the last few months from all over, which I don't mind so much.

SOA: funny thing is the only person on that entire show with an FXR is DL aka "Happy". And he's hardly EEEEEVER shown riding it.

Kurt Sutter is currently having a custom FXR built by Illusion. Oh, did I just say that?Nelsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09195720663739779398noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6288678161717835737.post-18994166187840124572010-10-23T14:44:04.583-07:002010-10-23T14:44:04.583-07:00Sorry Nelson didn't mean to come across as a d...Sorry Nelson didn't mean to come across as a dick, I ment the effect the show is having on the bike night crowds ya know the ones wearing the wolf shirt & dew rag! And everyone jumping on the fxr bandwaggon, which has jacked the price up! At least up here in the NW!LUCKYhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07698812160304318195noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6288678161717835737.post-26463632830361245972010-10-23T11:10:10.920-07:002010-10-23T11:10:10.920-07:00Yes, it's for the show. Actually I like the show and it's mediocre acting (so do a lot of my friends).

Like in a way how I appreciate watching Dusk Til Dawn over and over.

But I don't think the show has any effect on us whatsoever hahahahaha. Its just interesting since we know a lot about what goes on behind the scenes I guess.Nelsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09195720663739779398noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6288678161717835737.post-91570601603015310922010-10-22T22:06:36.870-07:002010-10-22T22:06:36.870-07:00I sure hope that Rusty is charging extra for the g...I sure hope that Rusty is charging extra for the gayness factor of the SOA bike or is he building them for FX? Not a fan of the show, generalization of the concept is good but the effect its having on the dew rag bro's is the greatest! When I heard word that Sonny Barger was working on a show with HBO I had hope, then saw this miss guided broathon & just shook my head! Sorry I'll get off my soapbox!LUCKYhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07698812160304318195noreply@blogger.com
