Jack Ching

Ran into "Hon Duke" aka Jack Ching at my dad's gas station. Haven't seen him in a few years. That's him sitting on the factory racer WR with a transmission he got out of a BSA.




I think he's around 92 now.

Really good to see him.
Big time local legend from years ago in Hawaii.

Total gearhead/drag racer. He's actually a real humble guy but when you talk to him about his old races, he gets a look in his eyes and you can tell he was really competetive and proud of his machines. Really amazing stories from old Hawaii.
