WHEN I WAS A KID

...my mom would tell me to make sure my belly button was covered when going to sleep. If I didn't, the Japanese thunder god would show up and steal it.

I looked up at the window and my only thoughts were - holy shit, if that thing showed up I would be fucking terrified! Steal my belly button? Its attached to my skin!!! So I slept covered up.

Reasoning behind this was to have your kid all cozy in the bed I guess. Don't think I'll be passing along this one to Nalu but just thought I'd share.
