FXR FEVER: SOME MECHANICAL HUMOR

Submitted by Brawny:

"I was going through this FXR for a friend and heard some noises coming from the inner primary after I started the bike. Found a misplaced spring, which is on the wrong side of the jackshaft, along with a Battery Tender mount that had both terminals bolted to the positive terminal. Signs of some funny business going on with this one!"

  1. Reminds me of a friend of mine's ironhead. The front piston was installed backwards in the bore (exhaust valve cutout on intake valve side and vice versa) and the snapring had been incorrectly installed, broken, and gouged the hell out of the jug.
