ZIPPY'S CHILI SECRET RECIPE?!

Many people end up going to Zippy's when living in Hawaii. If you didn't know, it's THE fast food chain spot there. Open 24 hours it's a place that's consistently, uh, Zippy's. The taste never changes and there are 'old faithfuls' you can always count on at 3am. One of them is their chili.

"Uhhhhm... I can just have one chili rice?"

A highly regarded secret, there's always been rumors of what the one secret ingredient is to their chili. Over the years, I've heard it's maybe Portuguese sausage, maybe peanut butter or even mayo. Lucky for us, Nos submitted this clipping from 1986 (which looks to be a reprint from 1969).
