I'm not sure what happened with this place but some of you may remember my rant about Jose and I discovering it one night. Well the first 2 or 3 times we went there, it was off the hook.
Their taco de lengua (beef tongue) was seriously the best we had ever tasted. The tortilla for the tacos were perfectly oiled then quickly fried, where it could still be folded BUT still had a perfect crisp.
I'm not sure what happened but I hate to report that this place is bunk now. My last try there, it just wasn't the same. I couldn't believe it. Same people, same cook, same girl collecting the dough.
Tortillas weren't right, the meat was like whatever, it was a big bummer.
CantStayJose went to investigate my claim and he too had the same conclusion.
At pakajunk we like to bring you the best in food. If we were here to talk about food that sucks, that would be too easy!
So anyway, skip this spot!
