SOSHIGAYA CURRY - TOKYO

Submitted by Shin:

Sometimes we go have lunch at Soshigaya Curry, about 8min from our office in Setagaya, Tokyo.

This is not standard Japanese curry. It has a lot of spices; I don't know what they are but we can taste it (not spicy, but tasty.) Usually Japanese curry restaurants serve us already cooked curry but this cook makes it to order.

In the picture, we both had pork which simmered very well and put burner right before serve, on rice. Very soft and deep taste. Other stuff in the curry are potato and Japanese white raddish.

Potato is soft, and the raddish is simmered and very soft and tasty. They have also have chicken, vegetable and shrimp curry.Love this little curry restaurant.
