All I gotta say is, its definitely not the same as the one in NYC. I had the Santa Monica version of Joe's slice and it was halfway similar but far from the same. The crust was different, not as crisp, and lacking some of the "details" of the NY version. Kind of a bummer but at least I got that out of my curiosity.
Come back and visit. And try South Brooklyn Pizza too. Didn't get to meet up with you guys with Keino, Cope, and Andy that evening. I go to bed too early. Joe's Bar that was.
